So...um...I need a new icon. This one was just for Halloween, and I want Xirek back again xD So, does anyone take Icon commissions? I'd probably want something of Xirek just being cute/chibi. Perhaps blinking as well? I dunno, just lemme know xD

Ughhh my thoughts are so scattered. Forgive me if I don't answer replies quickly, I'm all over the place :XD:

Cosplay Help?

Alright, first and foremost, YES, I am already planning out my cosplay for next year's Anime Banzai xD

So, for all you cosplayers and crafters out there, I have a question [or two] for you!



For this upcoming cosplay, I will be wearing a helmet. I know how to make the helmet and am in fact already working on the prototype. However, I do need a little help with the 'visor' part. This visor needs to act somewhat like a two-way mirror/car window tinting. I need to be able to see out of it, but I don't want others to be able to see my face. So it needs to be opaque [and even reflective] on the convex side, but transparent on the concave side.

This visor is somewhat half-dome shaped, so car tinting probably won't do the trick without wrinkling. Perhaps some sort of paint? Even if you just give me a link to a tutorial it would be very helpful!


Secondly, so I don't pass out from heat exhaustion as a result of wearing my helmet all day, I've been given a little word of advice: to add a small fan inside of the helmet to circulate air. [much like the little fans you find inside of computers] This is only a suggestion, and something I'm not completely set on yet, but if I find a good way to do this, I may end up doing it.


Oh, and if you want to know who I will be cosplaying as...

Birthday, Banzai, and Breaks! :D

So much awesomeness going on this month :D

This whole week

is Fall Break for me, so it gives me more time to work~! I have about 20 hours this week, which makes me sooooo happy! Having extra money on the side is fantastic! [Plus I get paid on the first day of Banzai!] And on Wednesday, I'm going with some friends to the zoo and to a haunted village :D

Next Friday, October 19th

, is the first day of Anime Banzai. I am sooooo excited! This will be my second year going, and I'm sharing a hotel with Chibi1KH2 and two other friends this year! :w00t: I've put quite a lot of effort into my cosplays this year, so I'll definitely show you once I go for a photoshoot!

Day 1: I will be cosplaying as Queen Chrysalis from MLP:FiM. This cosplay looks so awesome so far! I just need to make the tail and attach the horn to a headband and I'll be done! Chibi1KH2 will be cosplaying as Princess Cadence with me :D

Day 2: I will be cosplaying as Pinkie Pie, also from MLP:FiM. I am completely done with this cosplay! Chibi1KH2 will be cosplaying as Fluttershy with me that day ^^

Day 3: This is going to be my lazy day. XD

And finally, on October 25th,

I turn 19! Even though I really don't know what I want, I'm actually pretty excited for my birthday this year! :party: I just hope I don't have to work too late that day D: I hope to see some awesome giftart from you guys! [Nah, totally kidding xD]
